GTAC and University High School faced the challenge of transforming a standard learning space into an environment that truly reflected their innovative, future-focused STEM vision. With the launch of the STEM Discovery Lab approaching, there was an urgent need for a design solution that would inspire students and professionals alike — and showcase GTAC’s leadership in science education — without compromising on functionality or timelines.
The installation transformed the space into a visually immersive, cutting-edge STEM hub, enhancing engagement for students, educators, and scientists. Leveraging my network of technical professionals, I introduced innovative materials and installation techniques, including advanced window glazing and custom wall treatments, elevating both aesthetics and functionality.
The project reinforced GTAC’s elite standing in STEM education, creating a distinctive, future-focused identity that seamlessly integrated science, technology, and design. The result is a dynamic, inspiring environment that strengthens GTAC’s role as Victoria’s premier STEM learning and research centre.
