ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS

The PAN-PAN

The new purpose-built Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) office in Heywood required a comprehensive sign strategy that could shift seamlessly between everyday use and emergency response. As a regional HQ and Incident Control Centre, the building needed functional clarity — but also a strong visual identity that reflected its unique location in remote south-west Victoria. The challenge was to develop a durable, intuitive and environmentally conscious system that supported operations while giving the space a warm, site-specific sense of place.

> Supported smooth navigation for staff, visitors and inter-agency teams with consistent, intuitive wayfinding tools throughout the multipurpose building.

> Met environmental and safety goals by selecting sustainable, fire-rated materials across all signage elements.
